Exhibit Introduction:
The exhibition is mainly composed of circular track, arc track, metal coil, metal ball, start button, acrylic glass cover, stand and so on.
The acrylic cover on the booth houses two sets of electromagnetic acceleration tracks: one circular and one arc-shaped. On the circular track, four metal coils are evenly spaced, while at the bottom of the arc-shaped track, two metal coils are placed. A metal ball is positioned in each groove of the tracks. When the exhibit is activated, the ball begins to move along the circular track. As it approaches the first coil, the coil is energized, attracting the ball through it. The first coil then de-energizes, and the ball rolls toward the second coil due to inertia. The second coil is energized next, and this cycle repeats. Each time the ball passes through a coil, it gains an acceleration, eventually accelerating and rotating on the circular track. Similarly, the ball on the arc-shaped track rolls back and forth, gaining speed with each pass.
Operation Instructions:
Through the mechanical and electrical interactive experience, the exhibition enables visitors to understand the force and motion of charged objects in the magnetic field and its principle, reflecting the mutual relationship between electricity and magnetism.
